American Design is Growing!

We are looking for several new team members to join us as we continue to grow in downtown Milwaukee.  Current openings include a Senior Project Architect and an Architectural Technician.  Both of these positions are for immediate hire.  The Senior Project Architect will work with and report to the company president, but will work closely with other team members.  The Architectural Technician will work with the project management team.

SENIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT

Senior Project Architect (SPA) must be a registered architect licensed in the State of Wisconsin, with the ability to become licensed in other states.  SPA will develop, design, and/or offer technical solutions on all phases of architectural planning and construction administration as related to American Design projects.  SPA will be proficient in the most current versions of BIM and Auto CADD.  SPA must be able to manage planning, design, and construction projects, manage sub-consultants as well as other ADI personnel and independent contractors through all phases of programming, architectural design, construction administration, spec writing, and project close-out.   SPA must be able to interact with clients in both the public and private sectors, be willing to travel as needed and have the ability to collaborate in proposal writing, conduct meetings, and give presentations to existing clients, prospective clients, and other team members.

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

Architectural Technician (AT) need not be a registered architect in the State of Wisconsin, however, it is very desirable to American Design (ADI) that the AT become a licensed architect in the State of Wisconsin as soon as practical.  AT will develop, design, and/or offer technical solutions on all phases of architectural and planning as related to ADI projects.  AT will be proficient in the latest versions of Auto CADD and Revit.  AT must be able to manage design and construction projects, manage sub-consultants as well as other ADI personnel and independent contractors through all phases of architectural design, construction administration, and project close-out.  AT must be able to interact with clients and persons in the public and private sectors, be willing to travel, as needed, and have the ability to successfully conduct meetings and give presentations to existing clients, prospective clients, and other ADI team members.

Three years experience is desired.
