American Design lead this project to comprehensively modernize and improve elevator service, reliability, safety and environmental impacts at this skilled nursing facility located on the beautiful Chain of Lakes Wisconsin Veterans Home King campus. After a comprehensive survey, the ADI lead consultant team identified 15 elevators in six buildings for modernization and the need for one additional elevator.  Work included upgrades and/or replacement of safety systems, controls, cabs, hall entrances and related MEP systems and was completed in two phases of construction to accommodate a federal fire safety mandate.  The project included both state and federal agency review.
