This 14,000 sf aircraft hangar addition will provide consolidated multipurpose space for the maintenance, repair and storage of military aircraft for the Wisconsin Air National Guard. In addition to protecting the aircraft, the addition will provide a safer working environment for the aircrews and maintenance personnel and improve the mission readiness status of the units housed here. The project also includes a hangar access apron expansion, security fencing and a complete study with recommended improvements to the existing facility’s fire suppression system.  Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years including energy efficiencies, building envelope, integrated building systems performance and antiterrorism measures.
